Kavita Menon, MD FAAD

Dr. Kavita Menon is a Board-Certified Dermatologist. She earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University followed by a medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. After medical school she completed a fellowship in dermatopharmacology at the Ronald O. Perlman Department of Dermatology at NYU School of Medicine where she investigated novel therapies for skin disease. Dr. Menon completed a dual residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where she received awards for excellence in teaching.

Dr. Menon is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the Capital District Dermatology Society. She has published papers in peer reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, Cutis and Dermatologic Therapy.

Dr. Menon has been practicing Dermatology in the Capital Region for 9 years and enjoys taking care of her patient’s dermatologic needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Justin and their 3 children.

Virginia Tracey, MD FAAD

Virginia Tracey MD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by a dual MD/ MPH degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Tracey also completed a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship studying metastatic melanoma. During medical school Dr. Tracey was appointed membership to Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Society. She was also awarded the university wide Tulane 34 Award. 

Dr. Tracey completed internship in internal medicine and dermatology residency at Tulane University Medical Center. During residency, she served on the American Academy of Dermatology Residents and Fellows Committee. She received awards for best senior resident research project by Louisiana Dermatologic Society and the annual Dermatopathology Resident Award. She is also an active member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the New York State Dermatologic Society. 

She has published papers in peer reviewed journals including Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis, and Cutis. She also has co-authored chapters in dermatology and internal medicine text books. 

Dr. Tracey enjoys taking care of patient’s medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic needs. She spends her free time with her husband, Anthony (a capitol district native) and 3 children.
