What to expect for Skin Cancer Screening

Skin cancer screenings are important but can seem intimidating for some patients. Drs. Menon and Tracey are committed to providing a comprehensive but comfortable exam. The doctors recommend every patient undress to their comfort level for skin checks, and they will be given a gown for the exam. The skin will be examined head to toe, with body parts covered while not being examined. 

What to expect for a Visit for a Skin Problem

Every skin problem is different, and some may require a full skin exam. The doctors will hear the history of your skin condition including medications or treatments you have tried. Because a skin problem may be related to another medical issue, please bring your medication list and medical history to your visit.

Skin biopsies may be performed to aid in the diagnosis.
